Women at 62 years and 6 months with 36 years and 10 months of service; men at 64 years and 9 months with 39 years and 10 months of service (for people reaching the age in 2026). See the pension age page for the detail.

How is the pension amount worked out?

The trailing national average insurable income (989,23 €) is multiplied by your own coefficient and by your years of service, weighted by an annual accrual rate. The full explanation is on the how the pension is calculated page.

Is there a minimum and a maximum pension?

The 2026 minimum is 322,37 € through the end of June and 347,51 € from July on. The maximum pension (excluding supplements) is 1738,40 €.

Are pensions in payment uprated?

Yes, once a year from July, at a rate equal to 50 % of the growth in insurable income plus 50 % of inflation, both measured over the preceding calendar year.
