Cookies

Google Analytics 4 is active but sets no cookie: storage is denied by default and the site has no consent mechanism. No advertising cookies are set — no ad network is integrated.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, smartphone or tablet) when you visit. They serve to remember your settings, to analyse how the site is used, or to improve your experience. Besides cookies, a website may use other browser storage techniques — such as local storage (localStorage) — which serve a similar purpose but are technically not cookies. Cookies cannot access other data on your device and, on their own, contain no information that directly identifies you.

The current state

This website measures its visits with Google Analytics 4. Storage consent is denied by default for every visitor, everywhere, and the site has no mechanism for granting consent. So no analytics cookie is set and no identifier is stored on your device — the tag runs entirely cookieless: aggregated measurement pings only. Loading the tag itself, however, does transmit data to Google LLC (USA) as a third party, including your IP address at the point of connection — set out under Data transmitted to third parties below. No advertising network is integrated on this site.

In short: this website sets no cookie for analytics or advertising and stores no identifier on your device. Google Analytics 4 is nonetheless active and receives aggregated visit data from Google LLC (USA) — see Data transmitted to third parties below. The deny-by-default rule applies uniformly to every visitor, regardless of country.

Technically necessary storage

So that the site can respect a choice you make, a small amount of information may be stored in your browser’s local storage. It is technically necessary, serves only to make the site work, and is stored regardless of any consent. This is local storage (localStorage), and so technically not a cookie:

  • Your language-suggestion choice — when the site notices your browser prefers the other available language and you dismiss that suggestion, this remembers your choice so the suggestion does not reappear on every page.

This entry remains until you clear your browser’s storage. It contains no name, no email address and no identifier that could be used to build a user profile.

Google Analytics 4 on this site

Google Analytics 4 is enabled on this site and is governed by Google Consent Mode v2, deny-first, with no region-based exception:

  • Every visitor, everywhere — analytics storage starts denied by default, and the site has no consent mechanism to switch it on. So no cookie is set and no identifier is stored on or read from your device. Google Analytics 4 runs entirely cookieless: only aggregated measurement pings are sent to Google, with no personalised advertising. This is the same default for a visitor in Bulgaria as for a visitor anywhere else in the world.

No advertising network (such as Google AdSense) is integrated on this site. Should that change after the official launch, a full overview will be published here — with the name, provider, purpose and storage duration of each individual cookie that is actually set. While no advertising network is integrated, we deliberately keep no list of advertising cookies here, so as not to describe cookies that are not being set.

Data transmitted to third parties

Google Analytics 4 sets no cookie on your device (see above), but loading the tag itself does transmit data to Google LLC (USA) as a third party — including your IP address at the point of connection, the page you visit and your device/browser type; Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, through which the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection for certified companies. The Google AdSense advertising network is not integrated on this site, so no further data is processed for advertising purposes and no personalised advertising is shown. How Google uses data from partner sites, and how you can set your ad preferences (currently without effect on this site, since no advertising is shown), can be found at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and adssettings.google.com.

How to manage your consent and cookies

For the measurement that already runs, and for any advertising that may be added later, the same uniform default applies regardless of where you are: storage stays denied unless and until a consent mechanism is added and you actively grant it. No such mechanism currently exists on this site, so there is at present no consent to withdraw; once one is added, any consent you give can be withdrawn just as easily. Independently of all this, you can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, or block them from being set in the first place:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies

Deleting cookies does not impair your use of this website.

Relationship to data protection

This cookie policy supplements our privacy policy, which describes what data we process, how, and what rights you have. The website sets no analytics or advertising cookies, but Google Analytics 4 is active and transmits data, including your IP address, to Google — see above and the privacy policy for details.
